Halloween

My little Zeelo dressed as Captain Zeelo for Hallween 2012!  We won a few firsts and made it into the top 16 in the Wichita Eagle.  Is always fun to come up with something and then onto the next year.  I give many thanks to my grandmother who turned 89 this year as I wouldn't be able to manage the sewing of the costume on my own.  Glue guns work for a lot of projects but don't always hold together.  Oh and to my wonderful dad for mounting the wheels onto the boat for me so that I could pull Zee at the contests.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

One of my favorite little gals, I thought I better get these up because this family has a new baby on the way.  Will be meeting the newest family member in Dec.

I had this little ones 6 month shoot and realized I had not blogged her 3 month images.  Both her and sis have the same gorgeous baby blue eyes that always seem to sparkle for the lens.  Will try not to wait so long to get the 6 month images posted.  Crazy how much they change even after 3 months!

stickers!!

Where would I be with out the trick of little stickers.  This is how to get the point, the stare and click we have some perfect shots!!  Little R was so great to work with as the posed inside shoots with kids are sometimes hard to come by!  He made it easy! 



this window shot is actually an idea that A had before the shoot.  I enjoy seeing different ideas as I am always opening to capturing a special memory!

maternity photos and soon after this special little guy arrived.  he had the sweetest hair (tiny little spike) stayed asleep for most of the shoot which is always a bonus!!

Another one that I saw is turning one on FB is mister M.  His mom and dad are avid hunters hence the antlers and animal hair in the images.  He is growing up fast, super sweet baby, was really laid back during the shoot which makes life easy when you can move from one pose to the next with no trouble.  Happy Birthday M!!

Every once in a while I get an email from a mom saying, "I looked at the blog and never found my baby."   Yes there are times where I get behind and have images ready to load and they somehow get missed.  I thought for sure they were posted so today I went back a year and nope this mom caught me!  Miss K-Happy Birthday!!  I can't believe a year has passed and look forward to spring BIRTHDAY pictures with you.

If you read down my blog a little ways there is a blurb about my lovely time I spent this summer and fall working in Salina, KS.  I met this friend and her sweet daughter there when I took my new job.  Let's just say I would not have survived my time there without her.  She is always positive, willing to help, and truly full of life.  She definitely has that special bond with her daughter which shines through in every one of the images I displayed.  Thank you for being such a wonderful person and friend!

I have been taking pictures of this little guy since his newborn shoot.  Mom can normally get him to laugh by singing songs, and let me tell you he is a dancer.  I also got to attend a BB game of M's and think I finally convinced mom to buy a good camera!  Cameras are important especially when we have kids to make sure we capture those special moments.
